11 Dream Matches For WWE's New Generation
The future of the WWE is here.
If you are a fan of wrestling, you have to be excited because we could have a renaissance on our hands. Just over the past couple of years, we have seen a glimpse of the future with the introduction of superstars like Cesaro, the Wyatts, and The Shield. With the advent of the WWE Network, a larger audience gets to watch NXT (where those guys came from), and they get to see even more of the future with Adrian Neville, Tyler Breeze, Sami Zayn, among others. That leads us to five wrestlers that are collectively called "The Leaders of the New School". This group includes the previously mentioned Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville; who are currently in NXT, and three newly signed wrestlers in Kenta, Kevin Steen, and Prince Devitt. Why is there such a buzz with these five gentlemen? They are all extremely talented wrestlers that have a combined 64 years of experience, but yet all of them are young. A quick background on these five superstars, Sami Zayn is very popular with any fan of NXT, but he made his debut in 2002 in the independent circuit as a masked luchador named El Generico. He has wrestled all around the world. Adrian Neville has been wrestling since 2004; even though he's only 28 years old. In the independent circuit, he was known as Pac and has the nickname "The Man That Gravity Forgot" due to being such a talented high flyer. This is a completely true statement, especially when you see his finisher, the Red Arrow. Hideo Itami made his pro wrestling debut in 2000 under the name Kenta. He has worked for the major Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling Noah, along with Ring Of Honor before being signed to the WWE in 2014. Prince Devitt (who will be known as Finn Balor in WWE) is most well known for his time in New Japan Pro Wrestling as he has held several titles as a singles and tag wrestler. Devitt has also wrestled in promotions such as NWA UK, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and New England Championship Wrestling. Finally we have Kevin Steen. He is a brawler who has most notably wrestled for Ring Of Honor from 2007 to 2014, and other independent organisations like Combat Zone Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla before that. Now that you have some background on The Leaders Of The New School, let's take a look at ten dream matches involving these five gentlemen that can become a reality in the WWE.
