As mentioned previously, it is heavily rumoured that the main event of WrestleMania 34 will see Roman Reigns take on Brock Lesnar. Both men will go into New Orleans with a win over The Undertaker at the Show of Shows on their resume - why not mirror that further with SummerSlam wins over John Cena?

It is highly unlikely that Reigns will decimate Cena in the same way that Lesnar did back in 2014, but everything seems to falling in place for this match to happen at SummerSlam 2017. Cena is transitioning from full time to part time with every passing show, and whilst Vince McMahon whiffed on the Cena/Undertaker dream match, it is unlikely he'll do the same when it comes to Reigns.

Roman Reigns vs. John Cena at SummerSlam 2017 makes a lot of sense. The rocket has well and truly been strapped to Roman Reigns, and a major showpiece match with The Face That Runs The Place will be another notch on The Big Dog's heft belt. With a relatively inexperienced headliner taking on Lesnar, WWE will need a major match to push casual fans towards the event.

Roman Reigns vs. John Cena may well be WWE's best bet.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
