The final Anoa'i entry in this list (albeit by marriage), Rocky Johnson and his son Dwayne both managed to win the World Tag Team Championship in their respective career. Dwayne often goes by the name The Rock (or so I hear), and won the straps five times with three different partners (three times with Mick Foley, once with Chris Jericho and once with The Undertaker).

Papa Rocky Johnson may have only had one tag team title reign, but it was a massively important one. Johnson teamed with Tony Atlas, and when the duo known as The Soul Patrol defeated The Wild Samoans for the titles in November of 1983 they became the first African-American tandem to hold the belts.

The Rock won a load of other titles too, showing us mere-mortals that there are benefits to heading to the gym at 5 in the morning.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
