11 Huge AEW Revolution 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

10. Buy In: Kris Statlander vs. Leyla Hirsch

Leyla Hirsch Kris Statlander
AEW

Giving Leyla Hirsch teeth over the past few months was a wise move on AEW's behalf. Quietly one of the most improved wrestlers in the world over the past year or so (evident in her indie work), Hirsch is a long-term prospect, but a prospect nonetheless. Her 'Legit' character fits the rougher, more ruthless edge she has been given through this story with Kris Statlander and Red Velvet, which will hopefully continue to be nursed as her development continues.

Hirsch defeated Velvet one-on-one in January. Though this feud has been stretched out across several months, including several weeks-long periods of inactivity, it'll likely end here.

A Statlander win would make sense, given her emergence as a standard-bearer in this division, though Hirsch may be being set up as a potential opponent for one of AEW's women's champions. Ranked second as of 23 February, beating a former (and future) top contender in Statlander would help springboard her towards that.

Winner: Leyla Hirsch
