11 Huge AEW Revolution 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

9. Matt Hardy, Andrade El Idolo & Isiah Kassidy vs. Sting, Darby Allin & Sammy Guevara

Tornado Trios Match
AEW

The cynicism surrounding this match is understandable.

The long-running Andrade Hardy Family Office saga wore thin months ego, with El Idolo's addition to the group's struggles doing little to perk things up. While Andrade spins his wheels, Matt's character direction gives the impression that he is waiting around for brother Jeff to show up, when he will presumably move on to more interesting things. On the other side, Sammy Guevara remains an unconvincing "badass" babyface whose charisma doesn't seem to come through unless he's playing heel. Muddied by the Codyverse, his second TNT Title run hasn't hit the desired levels, inside the ring or out.

So if you aren't looking forward to this one, fair enough. You have that right.

... but Sting is in it, and Sting never misses.

The WCW icon and Darby Allin are the most fun act in AEW match-for-match. They never fail, which makes betting against the match being a blast, at the very least, difficult. Do you really want to live in a world where one of Sting's signature pop-up spots doesn't conjure a thunderous reaction? You won't ever have to. The man's a marvel.

And he's pinning Isiah Kassidy, further infuriating Hardy and accelerating the split between him, Andrade, and the rest of the Office.

Winners: Sting, Darby Allin & Sammy Guevara
