11 HUGE WWE SummerSlam 2019 Predictions You Need To Know

8. Finn Bálor Vs. Bray Wyatt

CM Punk Roman Reigns
WWE

A sizeable portion of the "WWE Universe" may currently still be consumed with grief and panic about the possibility of this match underwhelming in the way that a) Bray Wyatt's original debut did, b) all of their prior matches did and c) because not even said Universe even seems to trust WWE anymore, but maybe this one will somehow go very very right.

In terms of how things might go for the maiden Universal Champion, the answer is "not very f*cking well". It'll take some sort of miracle save to stop The Fiend from destroying Finn Bálor at the 'Biggest Party Of The Summer', such is the effort WWE have made since WrestleMania in rehabilitating Bray Wyatt via this incredibly brave new venture.

In truth, it's less interesting positioning him as a winner as it is Bálor as a totally dominated victim. The Fiend has struck with terror and malice thus far, looking supernatural enough that being trapped in the confines of a traditional wrestling match might not be the ideal environment. A Mandible Claw under another cover of darkness could and should be enough to relegate his old rival to the sidelines as he continues to wreak horrific havoc on the rest of the roster.

Winner: Bray Wyatt
