11 Legit Toughest WWE Wrestlers Of The Attitude Era

5. Bart Gunn

Bart Gunn is best remembered as part of The Smoking Gunns, alongside his kayfabe brother Billy Gunn. What few in the audience realised, was that he was actually one hell of a tough guy, with decent boxing skills. At Brawl For All, he proved that toughness. He won four of his fights, three of them by knock out, to take the tournament crown. He even knocked out the heavy favourite, when he blasted legendary toughman Steve Williams in the second round of fights. That resulted in the WWF putting Gunn against boxer Eric "Butterbean" Esch at WrestleMania 15. In a career killing moment, Butterbean knocked out Gunn in thirty-five seconds. In 2006, Gunn took two fights in MMA, winning his debut against Wesley "Cabbage" Correira. He lost the second fight, but the fact he made it to MMA and had a win over a veteran like Cabbage, it shows he really was one of the Attitude Era's hardmen.
