Selected Career Accomplishments: 1 Time World Heavyweight Champion, 6 Time X-Division Champion & 1 Time World Tag Team Champion (TNA); 2 Time World Champion & 1 Time World Tag Team Champion (ROH) Austin Aries aka The Greatest Man That Ever Lived (as his promo's and ring attire would have you believe) is one of the top two or three wrestlers in TNA. He is their current X-Division champion (in his sixth reign, the first of which is still the longest in company history). Aries is one of a generation of wrestlers who has proven that size doesn't necessarily matter as much as promoters would once have believed. At 5 feet 9 inches and 210 pounds, old school wrestling wisdom would have been that he could never be a real contender for the top tier titles. However, in 2012 TNA rightfully recognized the groundswell of support he had amassed from their crowds and Aries dethroned Bobby Roode for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Aries was also the first wrestler to ever hold the ROH World Championship twice. ROH has always been a promotion that celebrated smaller, more technically proficient performers, and Aries thrived there alongside the likes of the previously mentioned Seth Rollins and Davey Richards, as well as engaging in legendary battles with a few huge stars soon to appear on our list...
