A match that so many people wanted to see, WrestleMania 25 pitted industry veterans Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker against each other for the first time in twelve years. Despite their advancing years, they were still at their peak, and delivered what surely has to be considered the greatest WWE match of all time. Instantly fans started watching it back. Many of us watched three or four times in the week after it aired, just because there were so many levels to the excellence. A year later WWE ran the sequel at WrestleMania 26, leading many fans to revisit the Mania 25 bout. In the years that followed, it continues to be one that gets viewed on an annual basis.
