11 Most Watched WWE Wrestling Matches Ever

5. Hulk Hogan Vs The Ultimate Warrior €“ WWF Title And IC Title Match (WrestleMania 6)

Hogan and Warrior were the two biggest stars of their era, headlining WrestleMania 6 in front of 67,000 fans. What made this match even bigger is that Hulk Hogan actually lost. Any fans who hadn't watched for the spectacle of Hogan vs Warrior, quickly tuned in for the spectacle of seeing Hogan losing. It was big. It was also a fairly good match, although very much of its time. Kids in particular loved it and couldn't wait to get the VHS to watch it over and over again. One of those kids was Adam Copeland, the man who would go on to become Edge. He was there in the crowd that night and like many in his generation was obsessed with Hogan and Warrior. With the benefit of two decades increasing the buzz around this match, it remains something that most ardent WWE fans will make the time to watch. Even more so after The Ultimate Warrior died in 2014, a tragedy which caused many fans to revisit his most famous match.
