WWE NXT's Arrival event recently celebrated its five year anniversary, and its eerie to go back and see where some of the stars ended up.

Emma, for example, should have been an infinitely bigger deal coming out of the event.

To be fair, her goofy dancing gimmick seemed to have a very short shelf life, but the NXT Universe ate it up and made her one of the biggest babyfaces on the brand. Twice she vied for the NXT Women's Championship against Paige and had strong showings in defeat both times.

Emma was already appearing on the main roster around the time of Arrival, but she was hardly being utilized in a meaningful manner. Rather, WWE saddled her in a comedic pairing with Santino Marella that caused her to be labeled as a joke right out of the gate.

The rest of her main roster run is a blur after that because she was rarely ever on Raw or SmackDown. She actually had to return to NXT in 2015 in order to score some television time, but while there, she reinvented herself and was repackaged as an awesome, vindictive heel.

Her career resurgence led her to being brought back to WWE's grand stage in 2016, but again, Creative had nothing for her. She was released from the company in October 2017.
