8. Were Still Filming Guys
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xb7ul3_wcw-thunder-chris-jericho-gets-lost_shortfilms As you can see with things like the Shockmaster, unintentional comedy was kind of WCWs forte at times. A well-remembered and well known sequence was when Wrath was chasing Chis Jericho around the building and the two wrestlers got their timing for the segment wrong. In a brilliantly kayfabe shattering moment, the two men mistakenly believe they are off the air, so they stop chasing each other and casually walk back towards the camera as if nothing has happened. There must be footage of this somewhere on the internet, but unfortunately we havent been able to find it. In its place here though is the lead up, and in this is another awesome moment (not and off air moment like them two men walking, but stupid nonetheless) where Jericho accidentally locks himself outside. For those of you who have read Jerichos first book, youll recall him discussing this. For those that havent, you should get a giggle because as you may have already guessed the door isnt actually locked, so when he pantomimes pulling on it in frustration it actually opens. Its a good thing that WCW learned from this though, and tightened up its production to make sure that they never broadcast poorly planned, kayfabe breaking moments like this ever again.
