5. The Old School Of WWE Are High On Owens
Part of Owens' development is down to his popularity with the old school powers that be in WWE. Triple H is a huge fan of the 31 year old, and pretty much strapped a rocket to his back from day one in NXT. Hunter will continue to have his guy's back and lobby for him to have a big Mania match. But it isn't just Triple H who is a fan. All of the old school veterans have been won over by Owens, including the late Dusty Rhodes and NXT's William Regal. Given how Owens has been booked on Raw, it's also a safe assumption that Vince McMahon is a fan. As for the locker room leader and franchise star John Cena, he's just had his best match of the year with Owens. The talented NXT star is impressing all the right people. With so many locker room leaders wanting him to succeed, Owens can expect something big at WrestleMania 32.
