It isn't just Network numbers WWE are struggling with, they are also contending with some horrific Raw ratings. Viewership has been at record lows in terms on non-football / non-holiday episodes. Basically, there's been no reason for fans to tune out, other than lack of interest in the product. And that was before the traditionally lacklustre autumn season even started. Fearing a destruction in the ratings during October, WWE have clearly acted to put in place something that will draw interest over the coming weeks. Lesnar and Undertaker appearing on Raw seems likely. The fact is, had WWE saved Lesnar Taker for WrestleMania, subscriptions and viewers were going to be strong in that period anyway. By booking it in a low season, they've gave a boost to what would have otherwise been stagnant business this October.
