WWE did think about Brock Lesnar versus The Undertaker 3 taking place at WrestleMania 32. But the value in repeating the match had withered, and there were stronger options on the table for both men. Interestingly, one of the options was possibly Sting versus The Undertaker. Moving Lesnar versus Taker from Mania to Hell In A Cell, and doing Sting versus Taker at Mania, it would have been a wise move. After all, Sting versus Undertaker is one of the biggest matches never seen. But Sting's performance and injury at Night Of Champions looks to have ruled that option out. It is unknown who Undertaker will face at WrestleMania if it isn't Lesnar or Sting, but John Cena could be a great candidate for the spot. As for Lesnar, there's a range of opponents he could have a big match with at Mania. Wrestling Taker in October leaves him free to face the likes of Roman Reigns or The Rock next April.
