Having followed the Monday Night wars for over half a decade, no fan ever imagined Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff working together. The WCW and WWF competition wasn't just business, it was personal. Bischoff had challenged McMahon to a legitimate fight at the height of their warring shows. He'd also taken several low blows against McMahon's company, giving away storylines and signing their talent just to hurt them. Nobody ever really thought Vince was the forgiving type. Being rid of the name 'Eric Bischoff' in his life was surely a blessing. Likewise, after McMahon put WCW out of business in 2001 and stole Bischoff's legacy, surely Eric would have wanted nothing to do with his enemy.
