Rumours of The Rock returning at SummerSlam are starting to gather pace. It all started when Fox Sports outright asked Roman Reigns if his cousin would be at the event. That was a strange thing to ask, and Reigns replied I wanna tell you, but I dont want to give anything away. Considering how tightly that major media interview would have been handled by WWE PR, it seems like the comment was deliberately placed. WWE could be about to pull the trigger and have Rocky launch his WrestleMania 32 story. Turning up at SummerSlam would be a great moment in itself, but would also serve a future purpose. If he does show up, it will likely be another angle with The Authority. It is still very much the plan to do The Rock versus Triple H next year. SummerSlam could see The Rock putting out the challenge.
