11 Shortest WWE Title Changes In History

8. Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus (Survivor Series 2015)

Time: 37 seconds

That's quite the drop off in time, isn't it? In just one entry, these WWE Title switches have gone from minutes to seconds, and it's Sheamus' strangely popular triumph at Survivor Series 2015 that changes the game.

His braided beard, cheeky Irish smile and Money In The Bank briefcase heaped misery on Roman Reigns just 37 seconds after the boo-boy favourite beat Dean Ambrose in a tournament final. This was all part of WWE's branching plan to have Triple H undermine Reigns (because wrestler vs. authority angles are life, apparently), and it gave them an excuse to utilise Sheamus' MITB status too.

The parting shot was Sheamus smiling as Triple H glared at a confetti-covered Reigns and smugly crowned his new champ. Trying their best to keep the poster boy in fan good books, WWE smartly referenced Seth Rollins' injection at WrestleMania 31, but nothing could've convinced WWE's 2K15 audience to cheer for Roman.
