11 Things That Must Happen At WWE Hell In A Cell 2017

3. End The Era Of The Modern Day Maharaja

Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal simply has to lose the WWE Championship. The experiement has been a colossal (Khallasal?) failure, and even the staunchest of Jinder supporters must admit that now. SmackDown is in a creative hole not seen in years, live attendances are down, and the entire show seems to have fallen off a cliff.

Jinder Mahal has also given a number of highly questionable (read; racist) promos in recent weeks, making fun of Shinsuke Nakamura and his ethnicity. How can the dastardly heel win out here? Again, this is WWE so nothing should be discounted, but the only logical conclusion to this match is Shinsuke Nakamura Kinshashaing Jinder into next year.

The forthcoming Indian tour seems to make many think that Jinder must retain, but Mahal hasn’t moved the needle in the second most populous country on the planet. His WWE Championship run has had absolutely zero redeeming features and must end.

Is Shinsuke Nakamura the right person to defeat Jinder for the title? At this point, there is no such thing as a bad option. The only ‘bad option’ is Jinder continuing as champion. Nakamura is an international superstar who is capable of putting on incredible wrestling matches. His time has come.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
