You’ve probably seen R-Truth’s “Green Bay” gaffe. The one in which he addresses what he thinks is a Green Bay crowd, only for Michael Cole to reveal they’re actually up the road in Milwaukee. But apparently, Truth’s geographical ignorance isn’t limited to the state of Wisconsin alone.

Jericho and Fandango both recalled an instance in which R-Truth, in the midst of his pre-match “what’s up” spiel, seemingly forgot which continent he was in, posing the question “what’s up Austria?” despite the fact that they were in Sydney, Australia.

You could just about let him off for getting mixed up over the 120 miles between Green Bay and Milwaukee, but the gap between Australia and Austria is a little more notable. In fact, it’s about 68 times miles more notable, in case you’re after specifics.

Then again, maybe this was all a subtle part of his gimmick of feigning blissful naïveté—the same that saw him forget the rules of a Royal Rumble match and mistakenly assume he was in Money in the Bank.
