9. Meeting Fans On The Book Tour
Shawn says the travel that he's been doing for the book tour has been fun, and he enjoys getting out and doing personal appearances. He calls them a great joy to do, and describes moments such as people bringing in pictures of themselves as little kids with HBK, and seeing them all grown up and still a fan is an amazing feeling. He also talks about how great it is to meet people who've been touched by the book, such as those who've strayed off their personal spiritual course and read his book at a time in their life when they needed the message. This leads into Jim Ross calling the fans a "golden commodity" - an odd phrase since he spends so much time making snide remarks toward them on his podcast and via Twitter - and saying that if you treat them right they'll stick by you.
