11 Things We Learned From Tyson Kidd & Nattie On Talk Is Jericho
2. Stu's Cats
After rehashing some famous Hart house stories that have been told dozens of times including in Jericho's books, he talks about the how Stu was notorious for scooping up cat poop with the spatula he used to cook. Nattie said that Stu had a open mentality when it came to animals and that the cats pretty much ran the house. She said at one point he had fourteen or fifteen cats in addition to several dogs. She admitted there was a constant srrong odor of cat urine throughout the house, and that they'd be walking all over the counters and whatnot because they had free reign to do as they pleased. Nattie says to this day when she smells cat pee it brings back memories of her grandfather's house and she doesn't mind it at all. She says that there was a lot of cat pee in the dungeon, and Tyson adds that the dog did their fair share of relieving themselves in there as well. She explains away the spatula routine by calling Stu resourceful. Tyson tells of a time one of his Japanese trainers adamantly turned down a meal offered by the Hart patriarch because of Stu's cooking methods, and then relates a tale of a time he saw Stu take a take-out container out of the garbage and place Helen's freshly cooked chicken wings in them before carrying them upstairs to his wife.
