11 Things We Learnt From 'Being The Elite' So Far

2. They Are The Future

Be it at their ROH shows or in New Japan, they are recognised almost everywhere and praised by their fans. Revered in Japan, and idolised in the States, the Elite are a major draw on almost any show they attend.

They are regularly subject to fantasy booking, teasing said fantasies in merchandise stores and visits to 'New Days' convenience store, actively engaging with fandom. They connect with audiences on every level, an achievement that should be a wrestler's ultimate goal.

Everything from the little moments of recognition - Matt signing autographs and superkicking the owner of a Japanese restaurant at their sponsored dinner in episode 16 - to the rapturous applause at ROH's Best in the World or putting on a Four Corners tag match at Dominion that "Will have Vader taking d*ck pics all night long", the Young Bucks are one of, if not the most beloved and promising tag teams in professional wrestling today.

Kenny's companionship transcends "leadership", giving them an authenticity as wrestlers who fight to make a living, and prosper in the appreciation of their fans. The Elite are strong, and the Elite are the future.
