11 Things WWE Got Right At Survivor Series 2016

4. Braun Strowman

In what was the night's most inevitable method of elimination, Braun Strowman was removed from the big Raw vs. SmackDown Live men's match by countout. It was the safe option but without doubt the right one, and having James Ellsworth factor into it was a nice touch too. Having Strowman subsequently destroy Ellsworth was the icing on that cake.

Strowman looked like a genuine monster once again, and one of the major success stories of 2016 has to be the rise of the Black Sheep. His timing is still somewhat off but then it isn't the role of the most inexperienced individual to anchor everything, and whilst his move-set is limited it continues to grow day by day.

Braun Strowman is a huge man who is simply stronger than everyone else on the roster, and that is how he looked here. The spot that saw him hurl AJ Styles over the top rope was brutal, and the way he manhandled anyone and everyone was a joy to behold. Long live the Abominable Strowman.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
