What a whirlwind month it has been for Jason Jordan. On 17 July he was revealed to be the illegitimate son of none other than RAW General Manager, Kurt Angle. This was clearly intended to be the beginning of a big push for the former NXT and SmackDown Live tag champ. The idea was to ally Jordan and Angle and strap a rocket to JJ’s back.

The major problem with this plan is that Jason Jordan simply isn’t over. Jordan seems to be beginning a feud with The Miz over the WWE Intercontinental Championship, yet Miz pinned Jordan clean in the middle in this match. Why would anyone care about Jordan now?

It is a puzzling decision. One month isn’t a long enough time to give up on the story, and that would be immensely unfair to Jordan. But in a match that included Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, it was Jason Jordan who took the pin. Read into that what you will.
