11 Things You Didn't Know About Rosa Mendes
5. She Had A Conveyor Belt Of Clients
After a short while, it became abundantly clear that no matter how much love Rosa Mendes had for the professional wrestling industry, she just wasn't going to cut it as an in-ring competitor. Over the next near-decade, Mendes managed a whole host of superstars to varying degrees of success, some of which fans will remember, others will have conveniently slipped the collective memory.
The high point of Mendes' managerial career was undoubtedly shepherding Primo & Epico to the WWE Tag Team Championships in 2012. While 'shepherding' in this case more accurately meant 'gyrating outside the ring', Mendes is still credited with being the mastermind behind the early success of the cousins from Puerto Rico.
The low point? You could arguably point to any of her other clients. Mendes accompanied Carlito, Zack Ryder, Tamina Snuka, Alicia Fox, Fandango and Adam Rose to the ring during her career, none of whom managed to gain any momentum or success with Rosa at their side.
