In the late ‘90s, DDP was getting over like crazy. Part of what made him so popular was his Diamond Cutter hand signal. Any fan who grew up in the era can easily picture it in their mind. It's an iconic image of the boom period. Millions of people across the globe were familiar with the Diamond Cutter symbol...but apparently not Jay-Z.

After Page had left WWE, the rapper began doing the Diamond Cutter hand signal himself, and that image was even the artwork on one of his albums. At first, Page thought it was pretty cool...until he realized it wasn't an homage to him and Jay-Z was trying to make the symbol his own. In order to "protect his livelihood", Page sued the star and Roc-a-Fella records in 2005.

Before the two were getting ready to battle it out in court, Jay-Z decided to settle and ended up paying Page an unspecified amount in 2007. He never saw it coming.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
