11 Things You Didn't Know About WWE's Tatum Paxley

2. She’s “Boring” On The Road

Boring is the wrong word, but it's in quotation marks for a reason.

During the chat with Salcedo, Tatum admitted that she doesn’t really like going out after shows, or even socialising much after the events: “I look forward to sitting in my hotel room alone”. This will seem like it makes no sense, but the WWE star honestly sounds like an extroverted introvert. Or maybe an introverted extrovert! In other words, she’s bubbly and likes people, but also appreciates her own space, peace and being alone with her thoughts.

She’s a homebody. Years ago, Paxley said she tried forcing the issue by being really sociable, but her social battery drained fast. She’s an over thinker as well, so she became keenly aware that other people might see her fading and think it was a reflection on them. It rarely is - she just wants to get comfy, stick some anime on and chill out. There's nothing wrong with that.

This might've been viewed as a problem amongst wrestlers in prior generations. Propping up the hotel bar and hanging out with as many peers as possible was often an excellent way to network. It's still true that wrestlers have to show personality, but not 24/7. Nobody needs to be out here doing Ric Flair's 'Nature Boy' routine 365, y'know?

SmackDown's newest member probably has nothing to worry about when it comes to waving goodbye then locking herself away in the hotel. That's not "boring", it's realistic when you're out on the road and enjoy peace and quiet.
