11 Things You Didn't Know About WWE's Tatum Paxley
1. Charlotte Flair Requested Main Roster Jump
Tatum leapt onto Jade Cargill's 'Baddies' during her SmackDown debut in early-August 2026. That happened after Alexa Bliss returned to try even the odds just a little during Charlotte Flair's match vs. Jade Cargill. Alexa brought her Lilly doll along with her, then the lights went out and Paxley was waiting to strike when the house beams came back on.
According to False Finish, it was actually Charlotte who asked for the NXT standout to be added to her storyline with Cargill and squad on Fridays. That's interesting, because Alexa Bliss is Tatum’s hero and most would've guessed that she was behind the promotion, but it was Flair who made the request to WWE management and creative.
That's one hell of a powerful ally to have if your name's Tatum Paxley. Being real, she has 2 super powerful allies in the women's locker room, and that can only be a good thing for the future. More will presumably come out about this in coming months and years. Paxley is super fresh and new on the main roster, so there's plenty of time to dish details on Charlotte's influence.
However, yes, it's interesting to hear that Flair was more influential behind that decision than Tatum's main inspiration Bliss. Things probably won't be portrayed that way onscreen in front of the cameras.
