12 Times WWE Tried To Convince You Wrestlers Were Related
10. Edge And Christian
We're getting the obvious ones out of the way early on... Edge debuted on RAW in June of 1998 in a match against Los Boricuas member Jose Estrada Jr as the mysterious loner character who emerged from the crowd and screamed a lot. After a few aimless match ups, the future 11-time world champion found himself in a match with Owen Hart at In Your House: Breakdown when a new Superstar, who looked exactly like the blonde bombshell, came out to the ring and distracted him which allowed Hart to get the victory. That new Superstar was Christian. The future Captain Charisma was revealed to be Edge's brother and went onto forge a partnership with Gangrel as his 'vampire follower', of sorts. Christian then feuded with Edge before convincing his on-screen sibling to "come home" - this formed The Brood. Edge and Christian are childhood friends who both had the same dream of making it to WWE. The pair attended WrestleMania VI together and started wrestling on the independent scene in Canada, alongside fellow future WWE star Rhyno. They are still best friends to this day.
