Some would argue that cheerleading isn't a sport. Rather than get into any sort of debate over it, we're including the Spirit Squad here (collectively, as it was a shared gimmick) for the sake of argument and to just err on the side of caution. The five-man squad would often rotate who was on duty in the ring, with others using their cheers and other tactics to distract opponents. This led them to a World Tag Team Championship victory over The Big Show and Kane, wherein all five members were recognized as champions, with any two allowed to defend the title under the Freebird Rule. The highlight/lowlight for the team would no doubt be their feud with D-Generation X, wherein they were literally crapped on and ultimately stuffed into a box and shipped back to WWE's developmental territory of the day, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). As it turns out, one ex-caddy-turned-cheerleader named Nicky would manage to make his way back to WWE one more time, where he is now once again causing grief for Triple H as current (as of this writing) Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler. Incidentally, knowing Hunter, it's kind of surprising he's not made any cracks about Ziggler's prior two-sport escapades during recent interactions.
