11 Ups & 1 Down From Last Night's WWE NXT (Oct 30)
8. Ghost At The Priest
In more careful curation of rising star Damien Priest as well as forcing him to face up to the cheap nature of his victory over Pete Dunne, a rematch between the 'Archer Of Infamy' and the 'Bruiserweight' was announced in a short segment in between the thrilling opener and the screen-melting promo soon to come.
One of two instances of this on the show, this was very typical NXT programme construction - typical enough to draw complaints for some, but welcoming to those that follow weekly.
Welcome, like the rematch itself. Dunne and Priest had fabulous chemistry the first time around, and an angrier former UK Championship should reframe the chemistry for something that hits even harder.
