When you break it down, pro wrestling is a soap opera. To an extent, at least.

You get these characters and storylines to invest in, twists and turns are thrown your way, and huge moments are saved for the bigger occasions. For example, you wouldn't see Eric Young lose the World Championship on a random episode of Xplosion, just like you wouldn't see Gail Platt murdered on a random Wednesday night episode of Coronation Street.

That's why the 'Who Shot Bravo?' story was such a success. It was planned out beautifully.

Subtle hints were placed throughout the weeks between 1 September - when the Wrestle House crew returned to the Impact Zone - to the wedding on 27 October. Once Bravo had actually been shot, you had a slew of suspects standing in front of you without even realising it. Some were more obvious than others, of course. Cody Deaner blatantly said he could kill Bravo for the way he acted during the wedding planning skits, while Fallah Bahh had a bone to pick with the former rogue referee after he was fired as Bravo's best man.

In the end, it was Larry D's alter ego Lawrence D who admitted to the crime. Not quite how your writer predicted it to culminate, and the aftermath that has followed since his time in jail began has been tedious to sit through, but in hindsight, it does make sense, thankfully. It was Lawrence D who wanted the love of Rosemary for himself. Of course he would want a chance to get one over on John E. Bravo.

Again, the aftermath of this saga hasn't been particularly well booked. As for the meat and potatoes of the story, however, it was near perfection.
