Minoru. Suzuki.
The Japanese legend is heading to IMPACT Wrestling "soon", though one would presume at Bound For Glory to either wrestle or set up a match for further down the line. Eddie Edwards seems the best bet to face him, given he wasn't involved in the Call Your Shot-centred Battle Royal, leaving him without a scheduled match on the 23 October card.
Suzuki is on a USA run at the moment. Since making an unannounced appearance at AEW's All Out pay-per-view, he's since wrestled a handful of matches for the Tony Khan-helmed promotion, as well as for a number of independent companies, most notably Game Changer Wrestling. He's currently booked to battle Bryan Danielson in a prime Tony Khan booking moment on tonight's Buy-In before Rampage.
This feels huge. IMPACT has used the Forbidden Door to their advantage, and while they've brought in some seriously huge names, Kenny Omega being the biggest, getting Minoru Suzuki in is a legitimately amazing moment. You couldn't write the stuff IMPACT has done over the past year and a half. Amazing.
