11 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Sep 9)

Downs...

3. Orange Crush

Best Friends Orange Cassidy
AEw

Orange Cassidy defeated Angelico (who is on a nice little Dark run at the moment, showcasing his llave style in showcase singles matches) in sharp fashion, outdoing the TH2 man's Negro Navarro-influenced submission style to put him away with the Orange Punch. Nice to see 'Freshly Squeezed' getting some shine after felling Chris Jericho, though the bout had nothing to make it stand out. This was no more than a record-padder.

Santana and Ortiz jumped OC after the bell. Best Friends made the save, cut a promo, and challenged their rivals to a parking lot brawl next week. This will seemingly be their feud's blow-off point.

Again, fine, but a step back after last week's heated show-opening brawl.
