5. WarGames: Reimagined

Keith Lee and Roderick Strong had a 17-minute ripper of match to close out an enjoyable first hour in Full Sail, but it spoke to the typical standards on Wednesday Nights that this was par for the course rather than part of any kind of match-of-the-year/week/show conversation.

This isn't the piece to criticise good wrestling just for existing, but this clash was so hard-hitting that one could easily sympathise with the wrestlers for having their graft not shown the love it deserved.

Not least when it descended into chaos to tidy up the WarGames mess.

Undisputed Era bodged their run in (because they always do, and this is ace) before everything went wild. Finn Bálor returned to deck Matt Riddle, before Dominik Dijakovic made the save that mattered to unofficially welcome himself to Team Ciampa.

The board was formally reset later in the show. This, pardoning the pun on the man that kicked all of this off by running his mouth, was strong wrestling television.
