11 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2020

2. Forever The North

No matter what happens from this point forward, The North will always be classed as one of the best tag teams in Impact Wrestling history. Simply put, Ethan Page and Josh Alexander 'get' tag team wrestling.

Their World Tag Team Championships challenge against Motor City Machine Guns representative Chris Sabin (Alex Shelley was unable to partake in the match after taking that stage piledriver) was a truly outstanding contest. Along with The Good Brothers, and the team of Ace Austin and Madman Fulton, the four sides put on a showcase for tag team wrestling enthusiasts. Eat your hearts out, Young Bucks fans.

There was no shortage of exhilarating action either. Austin and Fulton worked excessively well for a pairing that's only had a handful of matches together, while the sole defending champion didn't look a step out of place, even though he took a huge boot to the skull before the bell. The ending of the match saw the Canadian pair decimate Ace and Madman, before 'All Ego' sneakily hit Karl Anderson with one of the title belts to mark The North's second reign as World Tag Team Champions.

Now, it does need to be said that putting the titles back on The North so soon after their over 400-day reign as the champs ended may be a risky move. Their reign was never terrible, but we could have had first-time champions instead. That aside, though, there was nothing bad to note on this one. All seven men had great chemistry with one another, and on such a huge platform, they truly went out of their way to leave their mark.
