11 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Nov 13)

It takes something truly astonishing to knock a Becky Lynch promo from the top two Ups these days, but here we are. The sheer volume of major events on this show was such that 'The Lass Kicker' sits right in the middle this week, even though she was her usual exceptional self, still shooting barbs at Ronda Rousey despite their bout's cancellation.

The segment began with Paige bringing out the SmackDown's women's division so Lynch could name her replacement. 'The Man' appeared next, and the crowd loved her, whether she was marching down to the ring with trademark swagger, or spitting out quotables like Conor McGregor at a UFC press conference.

"Take my word, with a severe concussion and a broken face, I can still kick Ronnie's ass," she spat, and there wasn't a person in that building who didn't believe her.

Lynch would then lock eyes with each of her potential replacements, eventually settling on rival Charlotte Flair through respect. We'll get to that decision in a moment, but it provided a great visual, even though 'The Queen' was the only logical choice.
