11 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Nov 13)
10. Almas Vs. Hardy... Despite The Result

For the second consecutive week, an Andrade Almas singles bout was marred only by the questionable outcome, with the action preceding it largely on-point, because how could it not be? 'Cien's' lowly positioning hides that he's one of the best wrestlers in the company, and Jeff Hardy can still go. Old, slow, and beaten up he may be, but this crafty veteran proves he knows how to lay an effective match out every time he steps between the ropes.
A solid little back-and-forth encounter came when Jeff mounted a late-match comeback, leg-droppng Andrade's family jewels, before fighting through a Twist of Fate counter, nailing it on the second attempt, then getting the Swanton and the 1-2-3.
Though gutted by an ad break and ultimately soured by the outcome, the match was decent. Almas got plenty in before falling. He isn't a lost cause yet, but he's certainly heading down that route...
