11 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (May 12)

2. Here With An Impact

If you'll pardon the pun, Tasha Steelz made a real impact during her first Impact television appearance, even in defeat to Kylie Rae.

Now into her fifth career in the business, 'The Boricua Badass' looked absolutely at home on a major wrestling platform, splashing in some added panache with her performance. Both she and 'Smily Kylie' utilised a more striking-based offence, something that has become a tradition of sorts for Rae's matches, with Steelz busting out a gnarly roundhouse kick to Rae's cranium. While she may have eventually submitted to Rae's Smile To The Finish STF finish, it took nothing away from the guts and determination of Tasha Steelz.

The day after her match aired, it was confirmed that Tasha had signed a deal with Impact Wrestling. and it's clear to see why. She'll make for a delightful addition to an already bolstered knockouts division if this match was anything to judge her off of. Steelz and Rae had some excellent chemistry together, which made for an easy to watch bout that only added to a mostly enjoyable evening.

It may be hard to stick out in Impact's women's roster, given the sheer depth of talent on offer, however, Tasha should have no problem whatsoever making a statement for herself during her time in Impact.
