11 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (May 12)

2. Missed Opportunity

Will Impact Wrestling ever pull the trigger on Madman Fulton?

Following Sami Callihan turning his back on oVe, it seemed we were leading straight towards a Fulton singles run, even if he was still aligned with Dave and Jake Crist. Needless to say, the fact he lost to Hernandez was a massive disappointment, particularly because it was part of the ongoing World Championship number one contendership tournament. While 'SuperMex' is still able to hang with the current day stars, he needs to be used to put these guys over, particularly in these sorts of situations.

Not only did the former LAX member eliminate Fulton from the eight-man field, but he also easily disposed of both Crist brothers. Had the oVe trio gotten their own back following the bout's conclusion, the loss would've been fine - it maybe would have even been an Up. Madman could very easily be a huge deal in Impact if given the chance to not only prove himself, but also pick up a few big victories.
