11 Ups & 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Jul 2)

8. Understanding Heavy Machinery

Heavy Machinery are really, really weird, but if you want to glean the most enjoyment possible from their segments, view their relationships like this: Otis is literally (note: not literally) Tucker's pet.

All their interactions make sense when viewed through this lens.

A brief promo saw the big beefy duo react to the news that they'd been booked against Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler for a SmackDown Tag Team Title shot later on. It was highlighted by their bond, chemistry, and Otis' outright weirdness. Yes, this is a goofy act, but it's fun. Heavy Machinery are the sideshow we need to counter more serious acts like Daniel Bryan and Rowan and they're improving in all aspects of their performances.
