Ember Moon Mandy Rose

It was great to see Ember Moon finally right her wavering course with a solid win over Mandy Rose last night.

The bout itself was routine, but the booking trumps it. 'The Shenom' has been made to look like a chump in recent weeks, first through her childish reaction to Rose and Sonya Deville breaking her Nintendo Switch, then by losing via distraction finish. Neither presented her 'War Goddess' character in the correct light, but this most certainly did.

This is one instance of 50/50 booking working well. Rose and Deville are individuals, but they're to be received on the same level. They carry an identical level of credibility, and in besting one, Ember is essentially gaining revenge over the other following Sonya's fortuitous victory the previous week. Rather than eroding the former Absolution duo, it puts Moon back on the appropriate path.
