11 Ups & 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Jun 18)

7. Heavy Machinery Win (And So Does Bryan)

Heavy Machinery's win over The B-Team was a perfect showcase of everything Otis and Tucker are about. When they got goofy, Daniel Bryan rightly hosed them on commentary, with the Bushwhackers comparisons right on the money as Corey Graves dropped them. When they got serious, however, Bryan rightly put them over, and while Heavy Machinery aren't the most refined in the ring, they at least got to show some of the cool, crowd-popping offence that makes their shorter matches such a hoot.

Otis and Tucker won, because of course they did. It came when Otis fannied around after Bo Dallas tried to take him out, hit the Caterpillar, then nailed the Compactor with his opponent. They looked good, and this was a nice little momentum-builder as they stride towards a SmackDown Tag Team Title shot.

Shout-outs to Bryan on commentary, too. The man is tremendous in everything he does, and we'll take guest announcing spots on the weeks he isn't wrestling every single time.
