As abysmal as the tag team “match” between Balor Club and the Revival was on Raw 25 last week, this writer was comforted by the fact that a lot of what happens on reunion shows are ignored or overwritten later.

That’s kind of what happened Sunday when the Revival picked up a win over Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson by capitalizing on Anderson’s injured knee. The kickoff show match wasn’t anything special, but with Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder just returning to the main roster, they needed a win here. Losing twice like this would have sent them down the pecking order.

It’s a shame Gallows & Anderson had to lose as they had only recently gotten their footing under themselves again, but they can fall back on being part of a bigger thing with Balor Club and recover from the loss easier.
