The other option with the Del Rio angle, is to advertise the Cena return rematch ahead of time. This would then add extra interest to TLC, most likely meaning higher WWE Network subscription numbers. From a creative standpoint, it is perhaps a little more boring compared to the "surprise" factor, but it does make business sense to have such a huge star advertised ahead of the show.
