11 Ways Seth Rollins' Injury Changes WWE

6. Sheamus Could Become WWE Champion Sooner Than Planned

If you look at the WWE roster in terms of heels and faces, they are very thin on the heel side with Rollins out of the picture. Bray Wyatt is arguably the top heel now, but after him it's probably Alberto Del Rio, Kevin Owens and Sheamus just because he's got that Money in the Bank briefcase in his hands. While none of us know what WWE's plans are in terms of a potential cash-in for Sheamus, if it was to happen after WrestleMania season (assuming Roman Reigns was winning the WWE Title) then those plans may have suddenly changed. The creative team might decide that they can't wait to pull the trigger on the Sheamus title win, opting to do it sooner rather than later. A possible scenario for Survivor Series would be for somebody to win the WWE Title, then have Sheamus attack right away and have him win the WWE Title via cash-in. By doing that, it sets up a new feud while also establishing Sheamus as a top heel again. It's also possible that Sheamus becomes associated with The Authority as well because, if they are going to remain in power, they are going to need a top wrestler on their side at some point.
