11 Wrestlers Who Are The Dark Horse To Become WWE Champion In 2015

7. Ryback

Just like Sheamus in the entry before, Ryback had a similar path to the main event scene. After only a few months on that main roster, Ryback was in a feud with CM Punk; which led to a match for the WWE Championship. Also, later on as a heel, Ryback would challenge for the title once again against John Cena. Unfortnately for Ryback, he came up short on both attempts, but the reason why he lost on one of those attempts can be re-visited in 2015. Ryback was taken out by The Shield in their debut at Survivor Series 2012. One could assume that former Shield member Seth Rollins might be holding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship sometime in 2015, and this could be the way that Ryback finally becomes a world champion in the WWE, by getting the ultimate revenge. In my past article, 9 Reasons Ryback Returning As A Face Is Best For Business, I documented that the WWE universe is clamoring for the return of FEED ME MORE, and they got that last week on Raw with Ryback's return. His backing from the WWE Universe definitely makes him a darkhorse to be champion in 2015.
