There has been a little bit of controversy during the past year over AJ Styles' use of his Styles Clash finisher, as a number of wrestlers have received injuries after taking it.

Little-known British wrestler Lionheart faced off with Styles in a match for Preston City Wrestling after an online feud. At the end of the bout Lionheart was put in the position to take the Clash but tucked his head in as he took the bump, instead of leaning it back.

The result was a broken neck for the youngster, who wound up writing an open letter to Styles asking him to stop using the move altogether due to the rash of injuries that had occurred during the same period.

Lionheart's stance on the move has softened since, as he claimed in a recent interview that it was ultimately his choice whether or not to take the move and he chose to do it.
