Before Lionheart suffered his injury, former WWE midcarder Yoshi Tatsu had suffered the same fate in a New Japan Pro Wrestling ring.

After a hard-fought match between the pair Tatsu was placed into the position for the Styles Clash. As you can see in the video above, he makes the mistake of tucking his head in to take the move as well, resulting in all of his own and Styles' weight coming crashing down onto him.

To make matters even worse for Tatsu, he also took a guitar shot to the head soon after the bump. He even managed to wrestle another match a few days later, before figuring out something was really wrong.

Tatsu eventually discovered that he had two broken bones in his neck and he ended up wearing a halo for three months in an effort to correct the problem.

He hasn't been seen in the ring as of June 2015, but reports claim that he entered training in May with a view to making his return.
